Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector Inspections
All Groton residences are required to have smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors in their homes. All homes that are being sold or transferred, must be inspected by the Fire Department to ensure that Smoke Detectors and Carbon Monoxide Detectors are properly installed and in working order.

Home Resale Information
If you are planning on selling your home you will need to have your Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors Inspected. Please call the Groton Fire Department at (978) 448-6333 to setup an appointment. Our inspections are typically held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
